Alyssa (she/they) is a Theatre and Cultural Studies trained Eclectic Witch. Central to all they do is the desire to plant seeds of collective healing. 

Her current endeavours include Tarot Reading, Critical Magick—a Substack publication, and Shadow Swamp Creative—a zine-making collaborative.

Tarot Reading

My tarot practice is a window through which the seeker can better see themselves; their strengths, growth points, and hero’s journey. My readings assist in gaining clarity and  making decisions. They provide guidance, and strengthen the seeker’s intuition.

Critical Magick is a Substack publication that hosts my essays of cultural analysis and thought exploration. I write about products of popular culture informed by cultural theory, as well as my personal experiences.

My writing intends to display the magick inherent to thinking critically about how we exist, and what we consume culturally—which reflects, always, that existence.

Shadow Swamp Creative is a zine-making collaborative founded by myself and artist Eilish Pratt.

Through text and imagery, our zines explore the parts of our minds we relinquish to the shadow, unearthing truths about ourselves and our world.
