Looking at culture through the magick of a critical eye

Critical Magick is a home for my essays of cultural analysis and critique, though I throw in the occasional thought exploration. My analyses tend to focus on popular culture—specifically film and television. 

I write with the intent to support collective healing. Culture and collective healing are deeply intertwined. Entertainment influences our individual and collective consciousness. It plants seeds, suggesting ways of seeing, being, and relating. The purpose of healing is to do those three things with clarity, alignment, and integrity.

Through Critical Magick, I hope to aid in the expansion of thinking and healing. I hope that our soft parts feel seen and stood up for. I hope the reader feels empowered to navigate culture intentionally. I hope they find themselves awakening to the magick within them, the collective, and the culture we create.
